I'm looking for a Dedicated server in the USA. maybe even Canada Please do not recommend Delim(ordered one already) or (kimsufi, soyoustart as I have them already)
This will not be for customers or of any critical use.
This server will Be used as a PLEX server for streaming, Maybe an occasional game server that i fiddle with(nothing for business or production). I may also use it as a simple VPN to transfer content to etc.
REQUIRMENTS: CPU: something capable of handling 1080P transcode. IF i'm lucky a e3 lol
RAM: At least 4GB, would like to see 8-16GB
HDD: I would like at least 500GB, maybe 1TB . More would be great also. Raid is not a requirement as I don't need redundancy, soft raid 0 would be okay though.
Connection: 100Mbps 10-30TB or unmetered, or 1Gbps 10-30TB. Must also have decent peering to West coast.
Budget can be flexible but would like under 30$ USD a month.
Would also like to see what everyone else could come up with. Of course please remember this is not something that is mission critical, will not be used to make money from, and will not be used by anyone but me.
